In the past few years I have gained a few pounds. So after having four, quatro, vier, quatre, אַרְבָּעָה, IV,أربعة ok ok you get the picture I had 4 kids, my stomach hasn’t recovered from growing 4 human beings inside of it. I like to describe myself as curvylicious, but that I look pregnant hell to the no!! This statement is leading to a story I want to share with you.
Once upon a time there was a pudgy slouchy women entering the L train in NYC …. who the fudge are you calling names… OK lets start over. Once upon a time there was a woman who was extremely tired because she was starting a new job and didn’t get any sleep the night before because her 20 year old neighbors were too loud since they sleep all day and stay up all night and by the way was her younger dumb brother….oops wrong story… ok lets get back , so she was tired and because of it she kinda slouched and put one hand on her back and the other held on to a pole. What happened next was so insulting but thoughtful all together. Her face turned into the WTF face but then to the awww face. A passenger offered her a seat while she gazed at her stomach area. But because the women was in reality extremely exhausted she took the seat and thought to herself if you cant beat them join them.
Now to be completely honest the story is about me.. yes I know hun with this figure how can some one confuse me for a pregnant women. Moral of the story is I realized that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of me, but only how I feel about myself. And for the metiches (nosey bodies) it would be smart to not make assumptions about other people’s bodies especially women!!
Have you ever been confused for pregnant women? How did it make you feel?
