When the time comes when you have to plan out the best form of communication with a tween that commutes to school. So my son DJ is practicing commuting to school so he can be ready next school year to be on his own. As a mom I want to be able to reach him and vice versa him reach me. First we had to find a way to save those coins but still satisfy our tween’s desire of a cool smart phone. Another big thing to consider is the plan. Like most tweens that can’t survive with out being connected to the web a lot of data was important to us. We decided to head out to our local Walmart and discovered a price that no other company could beat! Did you know that Walmart Family Mobile Plus has a plan for growing families!
We quickly noticed the Walmart Family Mobile phones on Rollback. We chose to go with the Cool Pad Rogue- $19.88 (Rollback from $39.83) plus the Starter Kits are cheaper than before and now on rollback for just 19.88 ( from $25). We thought this couldn’t get any better until we saw the $49.88 plan that included unlimited talk, text, and data with 10 GB of 4G LTE data PLUS a free movie on VUDU every month per line (new release rental, $7 value). Every month our family will be able to enjoy family movie night on our smart t.v..
The Coolpad Rogue is easy to use & great for first time smartphone users or parents looking for a stylish device to outfit their kids. The device’s sleek design and 4” WVGA display give you a better viewing experience at an incredibly affordable price for any budget.
• 4” WVGA screen for a sharper image and exceptional viewing experience
• 2MP Camera to capture & share all of life’s precious moments
• Browse & Search with 4G speed

DJ has been commuting from home to school and calls me right as soon as he gets out of the subway. Even though the stress of his commute will keep me insecure I’m happy to be able to have that line of communication either by a call or text. He is also overjoyed that with the Walmart Family Mobile Plus 10 GB of LTE data, he can surf the web in a breeze. I’m relieved I don’t have to monitor if he goes over the data limit since its unlimited.
I didn’t have a cell phone until I was 17 but I’m glad I’m able to afford one for my son with the Walmart Family Mobile Plus. What age would you consider getting a phone for your child?
