Looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? I suggest Camelback Resort in the Pocono Mountains.. Its a 2 hour drive from NYC and 1.5 from Philly. ITs a one stop resort where you can do literally everything. To make life simpler I figured I give you 5 Reasons you need to book your trip this winter. Here you go 5 Reasons To Visit Camelback Resort In The Pocono Mountains!
1) One stop destination.
At the Camelback Resort they have everything. They have skiing, snow tubing, snow boarding, indoor water park, arcade, rock climbing, and much more. Camelback Lodge has a lot to offer families. The kids could not stop talking about the snow tubing and I have to agree with them!
2) Fun for all ages.
With the various levels of slopes at the ski lodge all kids and adults of all ski levels can pick the right slopes for them At the water park they offer a toddler splash pool and one of my favorite parts the out door Jacuzzi.
3) Sleep Over.
On this recent trip we did not stay over but we did on the one before. How convenient is it to wake up and walk to the water park or take a 5 minute shuttle to the slopes. Not to mention that the rooms are spacious and clean. You can also kick your feet up and lounge in the gorgeous lobby.
4) Aquatopia Water Park
Ever thing looks clean and updated. Tons of great water slides and some even way to scary and extreme for a full grown adult. lounge around while the kids swim in the enormous wave pool. You can also grab a drink at the 21 and over bar pool. You can also surf super fun!
5) Skiing and Tubing
As I said my kids loved the tubing at The Camelback Resort. Camelback is known for having the biggest snow tubing lanes in the USA. Ride solo or pairs or even triples to go faster. The best way to tube as at night with the galactic tubing. lights every where. Skiing was also a blast. I really recommend the ski classes. The instructors were amazing.
