Quaker Oats has been a go to brand for my mom and now its one for me. My mother made oatmeal every Sunday morning before church. She also made a traditional latino shake called Morir Soñando (die dreaming) and always added a heaping spoon of Quaker Oats to make it heartier. So to feature how in my culture we incorporate Quaker oats I decided to share this recipe of Morir Soñando with Quaker Oats. An easy recipe that the entire family can enjoy. The Quaker Oats just takes this shake to another level. Perfect for breakfast or for an after school snack.

  • 2 cups of Evaporated Milk
  • 3 cups of Orange Juice
  • 1/4 cup of Quaker Oats
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1/3 cup of Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
