Consumer Reports Not Just a Magazine

Earlier this week I was invited to attend The Consumer Reports Headquarters. As a child I remember my dad receiving the magazine in the mail and I would wait patiently till he finished reading so I can read it next. As a child I always wanted to know what were the best products in the market and I have transferred that same love into blogging. Who would of thought a magazine would drive the fire for me to start my own reviews on products I loved or products my readers wanted to know more about. I was supper excited to actually be able to enter the labs where actual products were being tested out.

Did you know that Consumer Reports has a Spanish website as well where it provides the same ratings and reliability data as the English version

Consumer Reports is an independent, nonprofit organization that works side by side with consumers to create a fairer, safer, and healthier world. We do it by fighting to put consumers’ needs first in the marketplace and by empowering them with the trusted knowledge they depend on to make better, more informed choices.

Their Mission Is Driven By:
• A team of trusted experts who put thousands of products to the test each year in our 50 state-of-the-art labs and 327-acre automobile testing track.

• Advocates and policy experts in offices across the country who engage with more than 1 million consumer activists to push for improvements in the marketplace.

• A digital team developing new channels to better listen to and amplify the concerns of everyday consumers.

• Venerated CR surveys—second in size only to the U.S. census—capturing feedback on purchasing decisions, experiences, and shopping habits, helping us further our work to inform and protect.

Another great thing to know is that the Consumer Reports Mobile website, is included in your subscription to ConsumerReports.org at no additional cost! There is also an app.
